IMF Approves $15.6 Billion for Ukraine.

According to Saudi media, the IMF’s loan package is part of a global assistance program under which $ 115 billion will be given to manage the economy of the country affected by Russia’s invasion for the last 13 months.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a $15.6 billion program for Ukraine. The money will be received by Ukraine in installments over the next four years.

U.S. officials earlier said a $2.6 billion U.S. military aid package was expected to be announced for Ukraine’s fight against Russia, which could include aerial surveillance radars, anti-tank rockets and fuel trucks.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet Nato foreign ministers in Brussels next week to resist Russia’s efforts to weaponize energy and support Ukraine’s retaliation, a top U.S. diplomat said.
