Import of cell phones has seen rise of an increment of 50.75 percent during the monetary year (2020-21) when contrasted with the comparing time frame last year.
Pakistan imported cell phones worth US $ 2065.166 million during July-June (2020-21) when contrasted with the imports of US $ 1369.943 million during July-June (2019-20), showing development of 50.75 percent, as indicated by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Meanwhile, mobile phone imports fell 11.51 percent year over year in June 2021 compared to the same month the previous year.
Mobile phone imports into the country totaled US $ 204.676 million in June 2021, compared to exports of US $ 231.302 million in June 2020.
