While preparing the 2018 annual budget, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed his economic team to place a special emphasis on development projects and inflation-control measures.
The prime minister told a meeting to discuss the upcoming annual budget and the national economy that, in addition to ensuring the completion of ongoing development projects, new initiatives should be created in accordance with public demands.
The prime minister also requested budget recommendations from the senior party leadership.
The group also went through the national economy, inflation strategy, and development projects for the coming fiscal year in great detail.
