As commercial beekeeping grows in popularity in rural areas, Pakistan has created a Honeybee Research Laboratory with Turkey’s help to boost the country’s honey production.
The National Agriculture Research Center in Islamabad hosted a ceremony to open the facility.
The Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, spoke on the event and reiterated his commitment to expanding collaboration with Pakistan in several domains. He stated that food security is a problem that affects all countries throughout the world.
Chairman Pakistan Agriculture Research Council Muhammad Azeem Khan praised Turkey for its cooperation in establishing the Honeybee Research Laboratory during his remarks on the occasion.
He claimed that Pakistan produces high-quality honey, and that the laboratory’s construction will assist the country improve its honey production to meet modern standards.
