In light of the heavy rains, Federal Minister for Information Technology Aminul Haq has issued instructions to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
According to the Federal Minister, Pakistan Telecom has been asked to keep the tower and broadband facility operational during heavy rains.
Aside from that, Aminul Haq has made emergency contact with the relevant authorities in light of the potential storm in Karachi, Thatta, and Sajawal.
The IT Minister discussed measures in cyclone-prone areas such as Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Ibrahim Hydari, and Mubarak Village.
Aminul Haq also called Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and offered him all of his ministry’s support.
