The 2023 Cricket World Cup 2023 match between India and India is expected to take place at the Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
According to Indian media reports, India, which will host this year’s ICC ODI Cricket World Cup, has started shortlisting venues.
The stadiums in Nagpur, Bangalore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Rajkot, Indore and Dharamsala have been shortlisted for the World Cup matches.
Indian media has expressed the possibility that India’s largest stadium ‘Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium’ in Ahmedabad has been selected for the Indo-Pak clash in the World Cup.
‘Narendra Modi Stadium’ is the largest stadium in cricket in terms of capacity of spectators, with a seating capacity of more than 1 lakh spectators.
According to Indian media, 7 venues have been selected for India’s matches, out of which 2 matches have been kept in Ahmedabad.
The venues of other matches of the World Cup are also expected to be announced soon.
