LVM3 completed its sixth consecutive successful flight by delivering 5805 kg (12,798 pounds) of payload to low Earth orbit, the agency reported on Twitter.

The rocket was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, at 9 a.m. local time.

The ISRO reports that today’s operation is the second one carried out in accordance with a commercial contract between the government-run corporation New Space India Limited and the satellite company OneWeb of the UK to launch 72 satellites into low-Earth orbit.
