inDrive Partners with Vlektra to Pave the Path Towards Sustainable Transportation in the Country

InDrive has joined hands with Vlektra, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, to introduce electric motorcycles to its fleet in the country. This move is seen as a significant step in making transportation more sustainable in the nation.

InDrive aims to be the first ride-hailing company to use EVs, with the goal of reducing emissions and promoting environmental sustainability. Roman Ermoshin, Director of the APAC region at InDrive, expressed excitement about this collaboration, emphasizing the effort to shift towards a cleaner and more eco-conscious future.

Fatiq Bin Khursheed, Co-founder of Vlektra, highlighted the pioneering nature of this partnership in Pakistan’s ride-hailing industry, introducing electric vehicles for sustainable mobility. The main aim is to reduce emissions and encourage eco-friendly transportation.

In addition to this collaboration, InDrive has launched a contest to create awareness about EVs and environmental sustainability. The contest will reward the best-performing drivers with free EV bikes.

Established in 2013, InDrive is a global ride-hailing platform operating in over 450 cities across 46 countries. It allows customers to set fares based on real-time demand and market conditions, ensuring a transparent pricing system for both passengers and drivers.
