A lady who reportedly got married to herself has filed for divorce after only one day alone.
In February, Sofi Maure originally made the announcement accompanied by images of herself wearing a lengthy white veil and a gold tiara.
The 25-year-old, who has more than 500,000 followers on Twitter and Instagram, disclosed that she had purchased a wedding gown and made a cake to commemorate the special occasion.
She added, “Today, in the most improbable moments of my life, I purchased a wedding gown and prepared a wedding cake to marry myself.
Social media users had strong opinions on her choice, with some defending Sofi and others claiming it was all done for “attention”.
Despite some followers’ encouragement, it appears that the loved-up solitary bride soon began to doubt her dedication since on February 20, just one day later, she proclaimed that divorce was on the horizon.
