Inshallah, this will be the Last IMF Programme in Pakistan’s History, PM Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke to the nation on Saturday, announcing a series of significant reforms designed to cut government spending, boost the economy, and enhance the quality of life for all Pakistanis.

In his televised address, Prime Minister Sharif stressed that every penny spent would go towards the nation’s progress and the well-being of its people. He assured the public that these measures would not place additional burdens on them. He promised to reduce government expenses and, within five years, provide education and skills training to the youth of Pakistan.

The prime minister expressed his determination, saying, “Inshallah, this will be the last IMF program in Pakistan’s history. We will become self-reliant and surpass our neighboring countries in economic activity.”

He continued, “From my personal and political experience, I know there is no progress and success without enduring hardships. Therefore, we must make sacrifices to ensure our prosperity. By taking these actions, we will raise the standard of living for Pakistanis to match that of the rest of the world.”

Prime Minister Sharif outlined his vision for a prosperous Pakistan, emphasizing that the government’s focus would be on sustainable development and economic independence. He mentioned that the youth would play a crucial role in this transformation, with investments in their education and skills paving the way for a brighter future.

He acknowledged the challenges ahead but remained optimistic about overcoming them. “We will face difficulties, but with unity and determination, we will overcome them,” he said. “Our goal is to create a self-sufficient Pakistan where every citizen can enjoy a better quality of life.”
