iPhone 15 Pro Max Durability Test Unveils Surprising Twist

Zack Nelson, known for his YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, recently tested the new iPhone 15 Pro Max to see how tough it is. This is Apple’s biggest and most expensive phone, and people were curious about its durability.

First, Zack checked out the phone’s fancy materials, like the brushed titanium and etched glass on the back, which he found pretty cool. Then, he scratched the screen made with something called Ceramic Shield, and it held up well. He also scraped at the selfie camera but found it protected by the Ceramic Shield.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Zack used a box cutter to scratch the side of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, revealing the titanium frame underneath. Then, he tried to bend the phone, and surprisingly, the back glass cracked easily, which doesn’t usually happen with iPhones.

He thought the titanium frame might be the reason, so he tested the smaller iPhone 15 Pro, and it didn’t have this issue. Lastly, Zack used a blowtorch on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it handled the heat and scratches well.

So, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max did great against scratches and heat, it had an unexpected weakness when it came to bending. In the world of phones, even tough ones have their limits.
