Iran has No Plans for More Talks with the US, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei

Iran has said that there are currently no plans for another round of talks with the United States, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei.

In a statement, Baqaei made it clear that Tehran is not preparing for any new negotiations at this time. He said that while diplomatic messages may be exchanged through indirect channels, there is no confirmed schedule or agreement for future talks between the two sides.

His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, especially over regional security issues and disputes related to sanctions and military presence in the Middle East.

The spokesperson emphasized that Iran’s position remains consistent and that any future dialogue would depend on conditions set by Tehran.

Recent discussions between the two countries have been uncertain, with both sides expressing different expectations. Iran has repeatedly stated that it will not engage in talks unless its concerns are properly addressed, while the United States has also pushed for specific conditions before any agreement.

Officials say that diplomatic communication has not completely stopped, but formal negotiations are not currently planned. Analysts believe this latest statement shows that progress toward direct talks remains limited.

The situation continues to attract international attention, as several countries call for dialogue to reduce tensions and avoid further escalation in the region.
