Iranian President and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Pales-tine Situation in First-Ever Telephonic Contact

The Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, recently had their first-ever phone call since they restored diplomatic ties.

They talked for about 45 minutes, mainly focusing on the Palestinian issue, which gained a lot of international attention.

This conversation came after a significant agreement brokered by China that allowed Iran and Saudi Arabia to re-establish diplomatic relations. During the call, they discussed the urgent need to stop the war crimes happening against the people of Palestine.

The situation in the Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza, is very dire. Sadly, the death toll in Gaza has risen to 1,100 people, with an additional 5,339 reported as injured. This is because of continuous Israeli airstrikes over the past five days.
