Iraq Ends Visa Fee for Pakistanis

Iraq and Pakistan are taking steps to strengthen their ties. Recently, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani met with Pakistani Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari in Baghdad. They discussed cooperation in areas like counter-terrorism and decided to offer an electronic visa facility to Pakistani investors. Moreover, Iraq has abolished visa fees for Pakistani pilgrims and visitors.

To address concerns of Pakistani citizens in Iraq, the Prime Minister of Iraq has also instructed for the quick release of Pakistanis detained in Iraqi jails for minor offenses and overstaying their visas. These efforts are aimed at promoting better understanding and collaboration between the two nations. It shows that both countries are working towards enhancing their relationship and supporting each other in various areas.
