For the convenience of the citizens of the federal capital, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has introduced an online Complaint Management System (CMS).
In this regard, Inspector General (IG) ICT Police Muhammad Ahsan Younas stated that citizens of Islamabad can now use the ICT Police CMS to submit their complaints from anywhere.
Earlier, Citizens had to go to the concerned Police Station in person to register their complaints. Although this mode is still available, it is no longer required following the CMS’s launch.
The CMS can be used to file the following types of complaints by citizens:
- Registration of FIR
- Reservation on investigation
- Complaint against officials
- Crime against women and children
- Traffic complaint
