Jazz announces that it made its highest-ever revenue of Rs. 55.05 billion in the first quarter of 2021, up 11.7 percent from Rs. 49.282 billion in the same quarter last year.
Its financial statement revealed a 47.4 percent increase in 4G mobile usage, which played a key role in the company’s growth. During the first quarter of 2021, this figure increased by more than 7 million.
The company stated that the sales increase was primarily attributed to a strong quarter for mobile data revenue, which increased by 28.4% year over year (YoY).
In the first quarter of this fiscal year, Jazz’s total user base increased by 11.7 percent from 62 million subscribers a year earlier to 69.2 million subscribers.
