Job Opportunity! Dubai’s Ruler Hiring on Youth Minister Cabinet Post

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has made a noteworthy announcement regarding the formation of his cabinet. He expressed his intention to recruit a Minister of Youth who will play a vital role in addressing the concerns and aspirations of the country’s youth population.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized his desire to appoint a distinguished young individual who can effectively represent the youth demographic and actively engage with the issues that matter most to them. He highlighted the importance of the chosen candidate being well-informed about the UAE, possessing courage and determination to represent the nation, and displaying a profound dedication to serving the homeland.

In a post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed called upon young Emiratis who meet these criteria to submit their applications for the role of Minister of Youth. These applications should be sent to the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs at [email protected].

This announcement follows the UAE’s history of recognizing the significance of youth engagement in governance. In 2016, the country appointed Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrui as the Minister of State for Youth Affairs when she was just 22 years old. Shamma Al Mazrui’s appointment marked her as the world’s youngest minister at the time. She was chosen from a pool of young nominees put forward by universities from across the UAE.

The UAE’s commitment to empowering its youth and involving them in decision-making processes continues to be a fundamental aspect of the nation’s governance.
