On Monday, Abdul Razak Dawood, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Commerce and Investment, announced that Pakistan’s Tata Best Food Limited had exported the country’s first meat consignment to Jordan.
Jordan recently approved three Pakistani enterprises to export meat to the kingdom: Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL), Tata Best Food Limited, and Tazji Meat & Food.
Dawood wrote on Twitter, “We applaud TATA Foods for shipping Pakistan’s first ever shipment of meat to Jordan.” “The MOC’s [minister of commerce] diversification policy entails the promotion and facilitation of non-traditional products to new markets.”
He also urged other exporters to follow his lead and “sell their products aggressively in this and other new markets.”
