Justice Aalia Neelum Becomes First Female Chief Justice of LHC

Justice Aalia Neelum has made history by becoming the first female Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC), serving until November 11, 2028.

Her oath-taking ceremony took place at the Governor’s House in Lahore, with Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in attendance.

Justice Neelum’s distinguished career began with her appointment as an Additional Judge in 2013, followed by her confirmation as a Judge in 2015.
