Karachi Court Fined Rs. 15,000 to Tailor for not Stitching Eid’s Suit

Karachi court has imposed a fine of Rs. 15,000 on a tailor who failed to stitch an Eid suit for a customer. The Consumer Court Shargi in Karachi, headed by Judge Fahmida Sahowal, ruled in favor of the petitioner who requested compensation for the unstitched suit and the cost of a new one.

The tailor, Fahim, did not appear in court or send a lawyer on his behalf. The court ordered the tailor to pay for the cost of the unstitched suit, the amount spent on purchasing a new suit, and the travel expenses of the petitioner. In addition, the tailor was fined Rs. 15,000 for not fulfilling his obligation to the customer.

Tailors and other service providers should take their responsibilities seriously and fulfill their obligations to avoid legal consequences and financial penalties.

It is important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure that their services are up to par. By doing so, they can not only avoid legal disputes but also gain a positive reputation and customer loyalty.
