Karachi Experiences Hottest Night of July with a Temperature of 32°C

Last night, Karachi experienced its hottest July night ever, with the minimum temperature reaching 32 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.

This temperature is much higher than the usual July average of 27.9 degrees Celsius, showing an increase of 4.1 degrees. The chief meteorologist pointed out that similar high temperatures were also recorded in July of 2021 and 2022, with temperatures reaching up to 31 degrees Celsius.

These high nighttime temperatures are unusual for this time of year and indicate a significant change from the norm. Such weather patterns can impact the daily lives of Karachi’s residents, making it harder to sleep and increasing the use of air conditioning, which can put a strain on the power supply.

The Meteorological Department continues to monitor these temperature changes closely to understand their causes and to provide accurate forecasts to help people prepare for the weather.
