Karachi Residents to get Relief of Rs. 7.83 Per Unit in Electricity Bills from Next Month

As per sources, NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority) is expected to decrease the power charges for K-Electric (KE) consumers by Rs7.83/unit on a count of fuel charges adjustment for the month of November 2022.

Asper details, KE customers may receive the relief of Rs3.15 billion as KE has sought to decrease the charges for its customers on account of quarterly fuel adjustment charges.

However, NEPRA would conduct a public hearing on KE’s petition to cut in power charges on 30 November.

The KE customers would receive a relief from next month’s electricity bills as soon as it got approved.
