Karachi Zoo’s Golden Tabby Tiger Dies at 21

The Golden Tabby Tiger of the Karachi Zoo passed away on Thursday, most likely from cardiac arrest, shocking both the keepers and the huge cat’s followers.

Ali Hassan Sajid, a representative for Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, stated that the tiger, named Alfied, was 21 years old and passed away naturally.

The tiger, a Bengal Tiger subspecies, was discovered dead in its cage in the morning. In terms of lifespan, tigers in captivity often live 20 to 26 years.

Sources claim that the tiger had been ill for some time and was unable to move on its own, but the veterinarians on the zoo’s staff were doing everything they could to keep the animal healthy.
