After France defeat in world cup final against Argentina, Karim Benzema has announced his retirement from International football.
Benzema was not the part of world cup as he was suffering from thigh injury and wouldn’t play for France again.
He got 97 caps and placed on 5th on France’s all-time goalscorer’s list with 37 goals.
“I made the effort and the mistakes it took to be where I am today and I’m proud of it!” Benzema tweeted.
“I have written my story and ours is ending.”
