The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the dates for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly elections.
On the other hand, A petition was filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan for simultaneous elections across the country.
In his petition, the talagang citizen has also requested to postpone the elections of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till the general elections.
The petitioner has taken the stand that there will be more expenses than the elections in the first and after the National Assembly in two provinces.
According to the statement, the general elections to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will be held on October 8, the election schedule will be released later.
On March 24, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali had proposed October 8 as the date for elections in the province.
