According to PakWheels’ sources, with the continued success of Sportage in the country, KIA is leading the SUV market, now the company is bringing another SUV with a completely different goal.
The KIA Lucky Motors has its eyes set on the vehicle segment of the Pakistan auto market. KIA is carrying contest to the mainstream field of cars, which areas of now governed by Honda Atlas’ Civic and Indus Motor’s Corolla and the new participant Hyundai Elantra. Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla are two of the most mainstream vehicle decisions in Pakistan. They want to launch KIA Stonic in Pakistan to rival Corolla and Civic.
The cost of KIA Stonic has not been uncovered but we can expect the price to be somewhere near similar figures as of Corolla and Civic. It would be an extraordinary shock if the company launches the upcoming SUV at a lower cost than the competitors. This will also set a higher standard for the competitors.
