KIA to Launch Electric SUVs in Pakistan Including High-End EV9 Model

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HCAR) posted an impressive profit of Rs566.4 million for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, marking a massive 295% increase compared to Rs143.3 million in the same quarter last year.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) also rose significantly to Rs3.97, up from Rs1 in the previous year. This sharp rise in profits was mainly due to a 44% increase in sales, which reached Rs17.85 billion compared to Rs12.43 billion during the same period last year.

Although the cost of sales also went up by 42%, HCAR’s gross profit jumped nearly 60%, reaching Rs1.64 billion. As a result, the company’s gross margins improved to 9.2%, compared to 8.3% in the previous year.

This strong financial performance highlights HCAR’s ability to manage costs and grow its sales despite challenges. The company’s ability to achieve higher margins and profits is a positive sign for its shareholders and reflects its strong position in the market.
