KP Govt Releases Rs 79.58 Billion for Development Projects

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has demonstrated commendable progress in utilizing its annual development funds, achieving a 55.72% utilization rate in the first half of the fiscal year 2024-25.

The province allocated a total of Rs. 190 billion for development projects, out of which Rs. 79.584 billion were released. Of this amount, Rs. 44.352 billion has already been spent on various initiatives. For settled districts, Rs. 120 billion was allocated, with 55% of the funds successfully utilized.

In the Merged Districts, the Annual Development Program (ADP) achieved an impressive 59% fund utilization. Similarly, the Accelerated Implementation Program (AIP), with an allocation of Rs. 40 billion, saw 58% of its funds utilized efficiently.

These figures reflect the KP government’s dedication to ensuring that development funds are used effectively to drive growth and improve living standards. The timely release and spending of these resources underline the province’s focus on completing infrastructure projects, enhancing public services, and addressing the needs of its citizens.
