PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced six-day holiday for the festival of Eidul Fitr across the province.
According to the announcement on Friday, the Eid holiday will begin on April 21 and end on April 26.
In the meantime, on April 20, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet to look for the Eidul Fitr crescent moon.
The gathering will be held at the strict undertakings service in Islamabad and will be managed by Ruet-e-Halal Board Director Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, an authority articulation said.
On the eve of the festival of sweets, the federal and Punjab governments had previously announced five holidays. The dates of the holidays are April 21 through April 25.
