The celebrations will not stop anytime soon as Lahore Qalandars claim their maiden victory in the Pakistan Super League after a seven-year wait. The franchise held a musical night tonight to commemorate the PSL 7 title.
The owners and head coach of the Lahore Qalandars staged a musical concert in Lahore to celebrate their remarkable title victory. When asked about the success of the Lahore Qalandars, head coach Aqib Javaid credited the youthful captain for leading the team bravely on the field. Aqib Javaid was unable to join the team on the big day at Gaddafi Stadium after testing positive for COVID-19.
Sameen Rana, the franchise’s CEO, stated that the Lahore Qalandars had only just begun their winning streak in the Pakistan Super League and that their performance will hopefully be up to par next year as well.
Sports journalists from both Pakistan and England were invited to the musical evening. Atif Rana expressed gratitude to sports media for their crucial role in the success of the PSL and the Lahore Qalandars over the last seven years.
