To control the traffic issues in the city, It has been suggested by the Lahore Traffic Police, to charge 2000 challan for bicycle parkers disregarding the parking rules in the city in a bid.
It has been prescribed to charge the challan ticket of car parking violators from Rs2000 to Rs5,000. Then again, the violators of car parking , people who are driving their cars without any licence and one-way violators, vehicles with corrupted dark screens and unlawful number plates will also not be entertained as traffic police has additionally suggested something for them.
It was stated by the Lahore City Traffic Officer (CTO) Muntazar Mehdi that contravention of traffic rules are expanding rather than diminishing and presently the traffic police have prescribed such heavy challans to control the culture of the rambling awful parking,
this is also one of the primary reasons for the heavy traffic.
CTO Muntazar Mehdi accepted that ongoing traffic challan are estimated sums and to change what is going on in the city, these fine tickets might be amended. He composed this letter to IG Police and suggested the increment and overhauled challan pass to get the proper endorsement.
