Major System Error at Crusteez Triggers Free Donuts. What Does this Mean for Pakistan’s Beloved Brand?

Reports are surfacing that Pakistan’s beloved brand, Crusteez, has been hacked, causing all point-of-sale systems to malfunction. Loyal customers and fans are reporting to the media that the system is giving 12 of the same free donuts for every dozen purchased. Netizens have quickly coined this glitch the ‘2Bara phenomenon’.

Following an initial investigation, officials at Crusteez state that resolution may take until midnight on December 31st. As word of the glitch spreads, citizens are expected to line up by the thousands at various Crusteez locations, leaving the company no choice but to comply and offer 12 free donuts with every dozen purchased. Annie Shahid, 24, reports already seeing Suzuki pickups being dispatched to fulfill orders as bikes struggle to meet the soaring demand.

Further reports suggest that the culprits behind this are the notorious hackers Izhar Rai and Tanzeem Ittehad. Their usual accomplice, Eeman, remains aloof and is nowhere to be found.

Crusteez is expected to suffer a massive loss that may lead to a complete revamp of its brand and a potential rethinking of its strategy.

Is this the end?

But in the end, it doesn’t even matter.
