Man breaks World Record by Clapping 1,140 Times in a Minute

Dalton Meyer, 20, of Davenport, broke the Guinness World Record by clapping his hands 1,140 times in one minute

He broke Eli Bishop’s previous Guinness World Record of 1,103 claps.

“It came naturally to me, it was like I didn’t even have to practice,” Meyer told the Quad-City Times.

He worked with the company to make sure the attempt was filmed in proper audio, so his 19-claps-per-second could be counted and verified by Guinness.
