Heavy rainfall in Dubai caused major disruptions in flight operations, resulting in a chaotic scene at airports. Many passengers, including prominent figures like former Pakistani cricket captain Misbahul Haq and cricketer Kamran Akmal, found themselves stranded due to flight delays and cancellations.

Misbahul Haq and Kamran Akmal were traveling to the US via Dubai when they encountered significant delays and long waiting times at the airport.

Misbahul Haq expressed his frustration, stating that he had to stand in queues for hours just to communicate with airport staff.

He highlighted the lack of assistance and accommodations for stranded passengers, painting a grim picture of the conditions faced by thousands of travelers at the Dubai airport.

In a social media post, Misbahul Haq described the ordeal faced by passengers, emphasizing that many were left stranded at the airport for over two days without any hotel arrangements.

He also pointed out that passengers had to spend a substantial amount of time waiting in queues to interact with airline counter staff, exacerbating the already challenging situation.

Kamran Akmal voiced his dissatisfaction with the service provided by an Emirati airline on his social media account, further highlighting the widespread frustration among affected passengers.

More than 50 Pakistani travelers at Kuwait airport faced problems. They had flown from Madinah to Dubai through Kuwait after finishing their religious trip, Umrah.

Due to the closure of Dubai airport, the foreign airline they were traveling with abandoned them at Kuwait airport, leaving them without proper accommodations or assistance.

According to reports, while Indian and Nepali passengers from the same flight were provided with hotel accommodations, Pakistani passengers were left unattended at the airport.

The situation was particularly dire for elderly women, children, and sick passengers who were forced to sleep on the airport floor due to the lack of proper facilities.

Despite the challenging circumstances, there was no immediate response or assistance from the Pakistani consulate authorities in Kuwait, further exacerbating the hardships faced by the stranded passengers.

The heavy rainfall in Dubai led to a series of unfortunate events, leaving many passengers, including well-known personalities and vulnerable individuals, in distressing and challenging situations at various airports.
