Mark Zuckerberg Announces Instant Videos Messages Feature for WhatsApp

Users can enjoy a new feature called “instant videos” on WhatsApp, announced by Mark Zuckerberg in a Facebook post. The update will allow users to send short video messages to each other seamlessly.

The process is as simple as sending a quick voice message. When users tap on the voice note button, which will reveal the option o record a short video message. The video will appear in a circular format in the chat after a few seconds of recording.

Additionally, WhatsApp has introduced the ability to edit sent messages. After sending a message, users can long-press it and choose the “Edit” option within 15 minutes. The word “edited” will appear on the edited messages, indicating that changes have been made, while the edit history will stay private.

Both instant videos and edited messages are protected by end-to-end encryption, which safeguards users’ communications’ security and privacy on the platform. The impressive new feature makes WhatsApp an even more convenient platform.
