Amidst criticism faced by McDonald’s Pakistan due to its Israeli counterpart’s donation of free meals to the Israel Defence Force (IDF), McDonald’s Pakistan has taken a positive step. They announced a donation of Rs. 10 million to help the victims of the Gaza crisis through the Edhi Foundation.
In a social media message, McDonald’s Pakistan expressed their sympathy for the people suffering in Gaza and acknowledged the significant challenges they are facing.
They clarified that they are a completely Pakistani entity owned and managed by SIZA Foods (Pvt.) Ltd, emphasizing their strong commitment to the nation and its people.
The company pledged to donate the funds to the Edhi Foundation, hoping it would support relief efforts and provide some comfort to those affected by the crisis.
McDonald’s Pakistan stressed their dedication to contributing to the local economy, creating jobs, and building local business partnerships, reaffirming their support for a peaceful and resilient future.
