Qaswa Mubarak Hussain is the youngest female certified commercial pilot of Pakistan. After completing her 12th grade she convinced her parents to let her join the aviation because it was her dream to fly. However, belonging to a middle-class family her parents always wanted her to become a doctor but they took their time and decide to allow their daughter to achieve her flying dreams and interest.
Qaswa undertook a two-year aviation course and training and becomes Pakistan’s youngest female commercial pilot. Meanwhile during the training she heard many remarks that depicts that girls do not belong to this field. However, she remained determinant and worked really hard to follow her interest and proved that girls can also join this profession.
Aviation is an expensive profession and she gave the credit of her success to her father who invested his savings on her training without any hesitation. Qaswa’s dream now is that more Pakistani women enter aviation and become pilot.
