Ridda Zahra Naqvi shot to fame in February 2021 after her sister Alina posted her first makeup tutorial video on Instagram. Her video went viral, garnering nearly 12,000 comments, 75,000 likes, and over 800,000 views.
Zara Noor Abbas, Ayesha Omar, and Sana Javed and other Pakistani celebrities praised the girl. She quickly grew her Instagram following to over 40,000 people. The beauty influencer spoke about how love motivates her in an interview.
“It’s the feedback that I love the most. They bring me great joy.”
Ridda’s Instagram account is managed by her make-up artist sister Alina Naqvi. She herself called the answer a “welcome surprise.”
“I am ecstatic to see Pakistan’s response because we were not expecting it… We wondered what was going on as we watched the video go viral. People in Pakistan aren’t used to seeing differently abled children in this light.”
Alina said that after such a positive response from the public, her sister Ridda was inspired to make more videos in the future.
