Pakistani Marvel fans appear to be in for a real treat! If rumours are to be believed, not one, but three Pakistani mainstream actors will be joining Marvel for the upcoming series Ms. Marvel, based on the first-ever Pakistani Muslim heroine.
The news that Fawad Khan would be cast in a significant part of the huge production has earlier made headlines.
However, there has been fresh speculation that not only Khan, but also actor Mehwish Hayat, will appear in the Iman Vellani-starrer.
According to sources, the show will only include Humayun Saeed’s Punjab co-star, Nahi Jaungi, and not Humayun Saeed himself.
It all started when a local tabloid revealed that a Ms. Marvel star would appear in The Crown’s fifth season. Then it was revealed that an actor who also appears in Ms. Marvel will play a key role in the Netflix hit.
Combining the two, it was suspected that Khan would be identified as Dr Hasnat Khan, a British-Pakistani cardiologist who was famously embroiled in a romantic relationship with the late Princess Diana.
However, it has been rumoured that Khan will not appear in The Crown, but rather Saeed.
