Threads, a new social media app competing with Twitter, had a strong start by gaining over 10 million sign-ups in just seven hours after its launch. Mark Zuckerberg shared this information in a post on the app.
However, users who wanted to delete their Threads account faced a problem. They couldn’t delete it without also deleting their Instagram account because the two platforms are connected. Some users expressed their intention to switch from Elon Musk’s Twitter to the Meta app.
Threads was released after Elon Musk took over Twitter, which led to significant changes in how users interact with the platform. One of these changes included limiting the number of daily tweets that users can see.
