Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must hold an LLM or Bar-at-Law degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized local or international university.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 15 years of legal experience in opinion and advisory roles.
- At least 10 years of senior executive roles in the public sector, preferably within the Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Provide expert advice on legal, regulatory, technical, financial, and strategic matters, including privatization of state assets and international law interpretation.
- Draft, negotiate, and review domestic, international, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure compliance of all contracts and treaties with national and international legal standards.
- Offer legal guidance on various domestic and international issues.
- Assist in legal, legislative, and corporate matters as required.
- Participate in meetings of Cabinet Committees and other sub-committees.
