Ministry of Law & Justice Opens Jobs Opportunities in Pakistan

The Ministry of Law and Justice, in collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General for Pakistan, has announced new internship opportunities for fresh law graduates, providing an exciting pathway for aspiring legal professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field. These internships, available in Islamabad, aim to support recent graduates in building practical skills while contributing to the nation’s legal framework.

Positions Available and Internship Details
The ministry has opened applications for two key roles:

  1. Intern Lawyer Associate in the Law and Justice Division, offering an internship allowance of up to Rs. 50,000 per month.
  2. Intern Lawyer (In Office) / Associate Attorney-General, also offering an internship allowance of up to Rs. 50,000 per month.

Both positions are targeted toward recent law graduates who completed their studies in 2023 or later from HEC-recognized universities, providing these candidates a valuable opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals.

Internship Duration and Application Process
The internship program is set for an initial period of 12 months, with a possibility of extension based on the intern’s performance as assessed by the Selection Committee. Candidates are required to submit their applications online through the Ministry of Law and Justice’s official website (www.molaw.gov.pk) within 15 working days from the publication of the advertisement. Notably, applications delivered by hand will not be considered.

Selection Process and Other Details
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a written test and interview in Islamabad, though no travel or accommodation allowance (TA/DA) will be provided. The ministry has emphasized that only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted will be contacted for further evaluation.

Additionally, the Ministry of Law and Justice retains the authority to modify the recruitment process, including the number of available positions, at any stage.
