Hafeez is the captain of Joburg Buffaloes in the Zim Afro T10 league and became the headline in the first match with his impressive bowling performance. Hafeez started by dismissing Sikandar Raza on the first delivery and Thisara Perera as well Timycen Maruma after that in the same over.
Hafeez took to his bowling position again when the Braves were at 64-6 in seven overs, chasing 106. Hafeez then dismissed Ryan Burl at 14, and Tymal Mills and Tanunurwa Makoni at zero, putting Braves in a struggling position of 68-9 after eight overs.
