During his visit to the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan won the admiration of fans by cleaning the mosque’s floor. A video of Rizwan doing this humble act quickly became popular, with people appreciating his dedication and humility.
Rizwan was accompanied by his teammates, including the captain Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Fahim Ashraf, and Iftikhar Ahmed, as they fulfilled one of the important religious obligations of Islam. Another video of Rizwan and Babar performing Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Holy Kaaba also gained popularity.
Earlier this year, several Pakistani cricketers, including Babar and Rizwan, performed Umrah (a religious pilgrimage) during the holy month of Ramadan. The Pakistani team is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka in mid-July for a two-match Test series, and their preparations will begin on July 3 in Karachi.
