Movie Director James Cameron has Visited Titanic Wreckage 33 Times

James Cameron, the director of the movie “Titanic,” expressed his astonishment at a recent tragedy that occurred at the same location where the Titanic sank. He compared it to the original disaster where the captain ignored warnings about ice and many lives were lost.

Cameron, who has personally dived to the Titanic wreckage 33 times, made the movie to fund his own expeditions to explore the ship. He wanted to accurately depict the Titanic and its interiors in the film, so he made educated guesses about certain details. When he later visited the real wreckage, he found that the Straus Suite looked just like the set they had built for the movie.
