MrBeast Breaks Guinness World Record, First ‘Threads’ User to Hit 1 Million Mark

The new app received millions of users shortly after its release and even received support from Mark Zuckerberg, who broke his 11-year silence on Twitter to endorse the platform.

MrBeast, a famous YouTuber, quickly gained more followers on Threads than Mark Zuckerberg himself. Within hours of joining, MrBeast had over 2 million followers, while Zuckerberg had over 1.5 million. This achievement was recognized by Guinness World Records, who shared a video on Twitter showing MrBeast reaching a million followers.

In a playful response, MrBeast jokingly commented on the Guinness World Records tweet, saying, “Shhhhh, don’t let the Twitter police know I’m cheating on them.” His Threads bio stated his aspirations of becoming the “Future Threads CEO,” and one of his posts humorously asked Mark Zuckerberg to make him the CEO, which received over 100,000 likes.

Threads, described as a platform for real-time updates and public conversations, has gained significant attention as an alternative to Twitter. It has already attracted over 10 million users and allows people to share posts with links, photos, and videos.

Users can interact with others through likes, replies, and shares. Additionally, they can sign in with their Instagram accounts, import their profile pictures and bios, and follow the accounts they already follow on Instagram.
