Saira Hussain born in Burnley, Lancashire UK, of Pakistani heritage with links to Gujrat in Pakistan is a multi-award-winning businesswoman and founder of the HAD Group.
In the past, she has been nominated for won/finalist for over 50+ awards, including The Duke of Gloucester Construction Awards and the British Muslim Awards.
Saira owns a number of female-led Architectural practices in the UK including, Manchester, Burnley & London, HAD & CO is specialise in high-end residential and commercial projects, and they’ve worked on projects including the Hilton Hotel.
Saira’s first experience working with Pakistani property investors was while a member of a group representing overseas Pakistanis from the UK, many overseas Pakistanis invest in property in Pakistan and instruct UK-based designers who liaise with designers there. .
While studying at The University of Huddersfield, Saira produced research relating to disaster resilience in Pakistan, the study was named ‘The future of earthquake design in Pakistan’ Saira hopes to continue to promote the Architecture and Construction industry to young females, build on this and make a positive contribution to the country
