The district administration has launched a strict crackdown against indoor shisha cafés that are operating without a license in Islamabad, despite clear orders from the court.
Officials confirmed that several cafés located in major sectors of the city have been sealed. In addition, a number of people have been taken into custody for breaking public health and legal rules.
The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad stated that serious action will also be taken against any government officials who are found to be careless or involved in allowing these illegal businesses to continue running in their areas.
This move is part of the government’s effort to protect public health and ensure that court decisions are respected and properly followed.
