Nadra Launches Digital Power of Attorney Service

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a revolutionary digital Power of Attorney (PoA) service, catering specifically to overseas Pakistanis. This innovative initiative marks a significant departure from traditional processes, eradicating the need for physical visits and burdensome paperwork. Eligible individuals holding a valid National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), or Pakistan Origin Card (POC) can now seamlessly grant Power of Attorney to residents in Pakistan.

The streamlined process comprises six straightforward steps, requiring essential documents such as valid ID, a functional email address, and contact number, along with the submission of biometric data for both the applicant and witnesses. To further simplify the procedure, online payment can be effortlessly completed using credit or debit cards. Additionally, applicants must scan a copy of the original PoA containing requisite signatures, thumb impressions, and photographs.

This transformative service not only eliminates geographical constraints but also prioritizes convenience for overseas Pakistanis, reflecting NADRA’s commitment to leveraging digital solutions for an expeditious and hassle-free experience in legal matters.
