Elon Musk, the person who started Neuralink, said that the first person who got a brain chip from the company is now completely better. They can use their thoughts to move a computer mouse.
Musk talked about this during a Spaces event on the social media site X. He said he’s happy with the progress and thinks the technology can do more than just control computer stuff.
Neuralink got permission to start trying the brain chip on people in September. Last month, they put the chip in the first person.
Even though people are worried about safety, this shows how Neuralink’s technology could really change medicine.
